Building a 30,000g Passive Income with Inscription – Part 1
Plan:
Using Trade Skill Master and a character with Inscription, automate a Passive Income to generate 30,000g regularly in order to purchase wow token/s.
Steps:
- Transfer old level 90 scribe to main server
- Ensure scribe has all patterns / completed researches
- Craft 2 of every glyph
- Post 2 of every glyph on the AH
- Cancel undercuts and repost quickly
- Craft 18 of every glyph (a stack of 20 minus allowance of 2 in case of errors)
- Store all glyphs in a new guild bank except for those on the AH
- Replenish stock using TSM crafting prompts.

Oh shoot, my scribe is level 87 🙂 Guess I need to level her up a few levels and make her scribe higher to max for 90 so I can work oin these steps ;)) & then set her up to Faction change…..
Hello Gold Queen its been a while since I post in your blog, almost 3 years actually, but who is counting.
3 years go I did this with inscription and made a decent amount of gold, using TSM or similar addon at the time, but it worked.
Gold that i later gave all away to a friend when I stop playing, but the game was different then, we had to put a new glyph every time that we changed spec, but now you use one and learn it for life.
Last week I decided to install the game again, and used the 10 days free trial, and since I have my sribe as my main i made some glyphs using TSM, and not worrying much about it, and I sold a few to my surprise, prices are higher now from what I remember in my days, at least in my server, and not many competition.
I wonder if people stoped making glyphs to put on the AH for make gold, or they just buy then from others on the AH, or use the garrison ( I think this is possible now, correct me if i am wrong), the game is very different now, even professions from what I read yesterday, it seams WOD works different now you don’t need to level up a profession from 1 to 700 to make WOD recipes, its strange.
But back to inscription, are glyphs still a thing?
Or maybe the gold now is on raw material or maybe the card still sell.

Glyphs are totally a thing. They are still “Print money on demand”. But there are so many of them that they need semi-automating with TSM, just like you did a few years ago. I have been dusting off my old scribe and setting him up just like old times and I tested it out for a month or so before starting the guide, because I wanted to be absolutely sure things still worked, and find out which things are different. I’m going to be going over it, slowing posting new parts to this series, and when you finally get the whole series you will be able to do exactly what you used to do: Print gold on demand.
