Dark Whelping seems to be getting lower and lower in price. Anything to do with cross realms or should I buy a bunch now and sell later? I don’t think it’s a rare quality in MoP.
Hi Sher, I’m also seeing a larger supply and lower prices for Dark Whelpling. I’m buying a few of the cheaper ones.
How much would you pay for an Elementium Geode? Are you certain Holiday pets are a good buy (Spring rabbit)?
As a rough guide, anything seasonal is a good buy if it hasn’t been around for about 6 months, and won’t be seen again for another 6.
To find the right buying price for an Elementium Geode on your server, look for the highest price you have sold on this month, and divide it by half to get the maximum buying price.
I’m also buying up on pets right now in the rush for the exit.
After making a substantial amount of gold in the last few months, I have been able to ‘splash out’ on Pets for my main in prep for MOP and I’ve focused on the rarer ones, knowing that once MoP hits, it’s very likely people will rush in and pay high market prices for Blues.

These pets are all free to pick up and at the moment, at least on my server fairly cheap to buy and seems to be very few people farming them.
With Mists of Pandaria all the locations of these nests will be cross realm, with an increase in player returning from breaks, an increase in interest of collecting pets and increased competition for farming them we could see an increase in price
On Cenarion circle the Sinister squashlings go for 80g a piece 🙁 However on malfurion, alliance side I had 6 on my hunter each went up for about 750g so hopefully they sell =) course if everything sells on My main in cenarion circle then I will end up with well over 2000 gold so I should find ourt in 2 days time =)
We obviously do have the major battle pet changes incoming soon however there is a lot of panic selling at the moment. I always buy during panic selling. emotions and gold making should be kept separate.
