Dismount at the top of the little hill, near the broken Night Elf building, and look on the ground for the slope that runs down towards the elusive Cinderbloom herb.

Head down the slope, keeping your eye on the edge of the precipice.

The walkway appears as an edge, a triangle where you walk towards the point. Â Before you come to the end, set your running speed to ‘walk’. Â For me, that’s the “/” key on the num-pad. Â For mac users, it may be Num Lok or something near there. It slows your run down to a step by step walk.

By now, you can see the point of the “triangle”, the junction of the hill slope and the adjacent semi-horizontal. Â We are aiming, remember, for the “point” of that triangle. Â Keep your mouse OVER the herb, and take baby steps, tapping your forwards walk button on the keyboard.

At this point, your character has only one foot on the point of the triangle where the two edges meet. Â With your mouse over the herb, you can see the greyed-out herbalism tool turn into an active colored tool. Â You’ve reached the herb.

Click the herb to pick it, your character bends down and harvests the tricky herb. Â That’s one herb down, one billion left to harvest.

ah, okay, did not notice that was a druid 😉
For druids it would be easy. Go to flight form, you can pick herbs while your in flight on your flight form, at least I can as a troll 😉 not sure if other flight forms can! thought I would add that in =)
The character you can see above is a druid. Whilst druids can pick whilst in flight form, their feet need to be on the floor, otherwise you get “you are flying” and can’t pick it. If you can get your druid to land on that exactly spot in flight form, you could pick the herb, otherwise it’s best to just land on the top of that little triangular slope and step towards the herb with your mouseover it until it lights up.
LOL I know exactly which one you mean.. Ive been sucked in trying to get it several times.
Good for you for figuring out how to pick it. My computer lags too much for tricky maneuvers, but that is a great
show and tell you gave us- maybe I can use it in the future.
