One of the interesting things about writing for a gold blog is the emails I’m starting to get from WoW players all over the world that I would never have normally connected with.
A few of them are just quick “hello, thanks for the newsletter, just wanted to say hey!” but I always ask people to email me if they have any questions and I’ve had a few doozies in the past week. There’s a guy who wants to make gold but thought my idea of using his professions was too time consuming. In case he’s still staring at my replies and wondering whether he can make gold like this, I’m going to wave the How to Make Gold With Glyphs guide at him and try and attract his attention (HELLO! YES YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!) to reading about automating the process with Trade Skill Master, which is one of the addons I recommend in my TGQ’s must-have addons.
I’m sorry but gold is just not going to drop from the sky and hit you on the head, I know some guides make you think you can just lounge around in Stormwind or Undercity and Greatfather Winter will just sneak a few k into your mailbox, I’m afraid you do actually have to sell things from time to time. Now don’t fret, pet, I’m here to back you up all the way.
Anyway, my point is: I’ve been offering my email readers the opportunity to ask me questions and get me to solve their problems. Now I want to throw it open to everyone. Say you have a problem like the guy who mailed me, wanting to get into gem making and didn’t know which gems to start with. He dropped me an email, and now he’s making some nice G . That sort of thing I can help with straight up. And here’s the best bit: I probably won’t know the answer to half of the questions, but I bet some of the other readers here can help! So we can find your answer either way.
