Once upon a time, there was a Prince. The Prince was born into a land ravaged by war and the alliance between all the kingdoms was falling apart. Knowing that someday he would inherit his Kingdom and bear the burden of holding the alliance together, the Prince was determined to be ready.
He was trained in the art of sword fighting by a great Dwarven king who was a friend to his father. As he reached adulthood it was clear that he was destined to become more than simply a great warrior and he was inducted into the order of Paladins, knights infused with the power of the Holy Light.
Some time later, a terrible plague of undeath attacked his people, turning them into mindless zombies and ghouls. Chasing down the rogue mage who had spread this plague, the Prince came across a city full of infected civilians. With a heavy heart the Prince slaughtered the people before they could be transformed, much to the dismay of his mentor and girlfriend.
Seeking to end the plague for good, the Prince travelled to the icy Northern reaches of the world where he happened upon a cursed blade. Believing the sword was the advantage he needed, the Prince took it from it’s frozen resting place and unwittingly surrendered his soul.
Whispers from the blade’s creator and master echoed in the Prince’s head causing him to commit many atrocities in the name of his warped idea of justice including but not limited to: executing his father in cold blood, ravaging the kingdom he was sworn to protect, comitting genocide against a neighbouring elven people to resurrect a mage he killed in the first place and helping to summon a bl***y demon lord.
Now the prince was suitably evil, his master summoned him to his citadel so that he could be released from his icy prison. The prince travelled to the citadel and after a few minor roadblocks and a duel with a half demon ascended to the top of the citadel and merged his own soul with that of his master, becoming the king of the undead.
    The End
