Must-Have Addons for Legion and Battle for Azeroth
With Curse taken over by Twitch, and Twitch taken over by Amazon, some of the functionality of Curse addons has been lost.
In particular, I can’t find my addon suite that I built back in 2011 and updated over the years.
That means I’ll have to give you my addons here!

These are some of my favourite addons for buying, selling and keeping track of my auctions and gold making online.
1. Trade Skill Master
Download and install from https://www.tradeskillmaster.com/install for all modules and for desktop app.

This 2011 quote has stood the test of time. Over six years later, TSM has a website, a discord server, and has a leading role in the warcraft gold-making community.

2. Auctionator

I’ve grown to love auctionator over the last few years because of its beautiful shopping lists that allow me to scan groups of items and compare their prices, buy exactly what I want for the right price, and easily post an item for the amount that I choose, rather than simply undercutting.
With auctionator I can give each item individual attention as I post it for sale on the Auction House, and check which warcraft competitors have also posted the same item, their prices, and their quantities. This is essential for me when watching item trends, supply, and demand.
3. World Quest Group Finder
Because quests give gold, and doing them in a group makes them faster and easier.
WQGF helps you, helps other people, and everyone earns gold together. Perfect!

4. Server Hop
The natural successor to Cross Realm Assist. Server hop helps you move from realm to realm.
Useful for finding rare mobs, completing quests with minimum competition, mining herbs and ore, even for buying extra copies of limited supply vendor items.

5. Garrison Mission Manager
For order hall and garrison if you occasionally go back there. Because who wants to mess around calculating different combinations of followers. Because you want Warlords of Draenor Garrisons and Legion Order Hall missions over quickly and out the way. Making you passive gold while you do your other business in warcraft.

6. Gatherer / Gathermate 2
Gatherer
Not strictly useful for auctioneering, this helps players who enjoy farming raw mats such as herbs and ore.
I particularly love the Heads Up Display which lets you fly or ride to the next node without consulting your map.

Gathermate2 is very similar to Gatherer. I personally use both, Gathermate2 with Legion, Gatherer with old world herbs and ore!

7. Postal

Quite simply the current best mailbox addon, letting you retreive and post your items faster and with greater flexibility.

Funnily, there is no download for this one *grin*
For me, this is the best there is, and would be up at number one if I wasn’t so lazy sometimes.
Nothing is better than keeping a handwritten note on your desk about items to watch, who to trade with, or anything else to do with buying selling and watching gold making.

Quite simply, altoholic lets me co-ordinate items, and trade skills across my alts and various characters. I can also check their bags, guild banks, all in a friendly user interface window.

- Addon Control Panel. Essential for managing your addons. You can make groups such as “gold addons” and “raid addons”
- DBM. For raids
- GTFO. Warns you when you are in fire in raids or dungeons.
- Pawn. For checking out gear upgrades (or askmrrobot)
- Skada. Damage Meter
- Bartender. Handling your hotbar and making it generally nicer and easier
- Paste. For grabbing long strings from websites, such as tomtom routes
- AutoTurnIn. For quickly picking up and turning in quests.
- Opie. Hide stuff in a hidden, but easy-to-use interface
- DIalogKey. Hotkeys for gossip options
- Flash Taskbar. Notifies you about queues and taxi landings and such when WoW is in background
- Easy Delete Confirm. No more typing ‘delete’
- AdvancedInterfaceOptions. Restores a lot of good options to the game.
- Allthethings. For completionist stuff. For “making yourself aware of rare things and helping you get items instead of buying on AH.”

3 Addons for Gold-Making Streaming
- Loot Appraiser. For quickly checking suggested market values of looted items. Does not work with TSM4 yet, only TSM3. Will work with TSM4 soon!
- Loot Appraiser Challenge. For comparing values of loot gathered by several players at the same time.
- Farmit. For easily displaying quantity of items gathered in a nice big set of icons
