Mists of Pandaria coming soon to Public Test Realms?
Latest beta build 5.0.1.15726 has been changed from “beta” to “ptr” and downloading a fresh copy of the client from battle.net gives you a PTR client.
Installing to your hard drive, the files are unpacked into PTR and then into Beta.
This has changed since I last downloaded the client!
Pandaren on PTRs soon?
Could it just be a simple mistake? Errors are usually omissions rather than changing things too early.
If you haven’t been invited to the Mists of Pandaria Beta, you could be playing your Pandaren very soon on the Public Test Realms.
Do you have a moment to log on battle.net and check your current situation and offer some explanation? Thanks!
The Gold Queen is written by Alyzande. With many level 100s, 9 years expertise in making gold, 10 garrisons, 16k achievements, 1505 days played, and over 18m gold earned. The Gold Queen blog teaches you how to make gold playing World of Warcraft using ethical trading, auction house flipping, crafting, reselling snatch lists, and farming gold making.
The MoP beta has always been listed as “Mists of Pandaria Public Test Realm” on people’s battle.net account.
Sorry, not on mine. Although my memory is getting old now, I’m sure mine was ‘beta’.
Just wishful thinking on my side, then?
It’s a bug that theyre working on correcting atm.

Thanks, I found that after angsting all over Twitter and yelling for opinions. I wonder if it is a genuine bug or if it was a little pre-PTR slip. Maybe I’m just over-eager for Panda-stuff??
