I wasn’t impressed by Blizzard’s attempt at bribery for tanks and healers to join pug heroics and dungeons. Â It was easier for them than actually making tanking and healing fun, but I wasn’t impressed by the rewards offered.
After tanking a little (I still refuse to heal!) and earning my own satchels of Exotic Crap, I’m don’t hate it so much. Â I got BoE Argent Tournament pet from the opposite faction. Â Then I sold it for about 5,000g, I forget the actual amount. Â That’s cool beans.

Delicate Copper Wire – lost and forgotten on the Auction house?
A quick for today’s gold making post. An overlooked item in some jewelcrafter’s box of tricks is the Delicate Copper Wire. Undermine Journal is currently down for maintenance so I checked up AHSpy for some quick data. Isn’t it great to have a backup plan sometimes?
Here it is on my home server. Can you guess who bought low and is selling high?
Delicate Copper Wire is made by Jewelcrafters. It’s one of the first jewelcrafting patterns that you learn from your trainer when you make your JC character. Players usually just use the copper wires to make the lowbie rings to level up their profession, then vendor the rings or send them to bank alts to keep their fingers pretty. Delicate Copper Wire can also be used by engineers to make Fused Wiring. Mats for your copper wire is a simple two copper bar. How cheap is that?

How To Make Auctionator Shopping lists for Inscription inks in World of Warcraft

Hi this is Alyzande here, writer for the Gold Queen . com, the world of warcraft auction house and gold gaming blog. Today I’m going to be showing you how to set up a shopping list with Auctionator addon to search all the world of warcraft herbs according to which ink they can make.
This will help you find the cheapest herb for your ink when your scribe wants to buy a lot of herbs from the Auction House to make a bulk pack of glyphs for stocking up once a week.
I find that the best time to buy herbs is either on a saturday late morning and afternoon, or about nine in the evening when players have finished gathering herbs for the day and have dumped their stock on the AH.
Auctionator is a legal addon for World of Warcraft and can be downloaded from Curse Gaming website. It’s part of my pack of gold making addons.
We’re going to open up auctionator and go to the buy tab.
- In the left menu choose new shopping list and a new window will appear.
- Type in the name for your new shopping list I’ve called my new shopping list “midnight ink”.
- Now I’m going to open up a new browser, go to WoWhead, and search for Midnight Ink. Find the pigment that makes the ink, mouseover it, and you’ll see a list of all the herbs that make that pigment.
- Alt-tab back to your warcraft screen, and in the new shopping list for midnight ink, do a search for that first herb, Mageroyal at the top of the auctionator window.
- Wait for Auctionator to search for that herb, then click Add Item in the left hand column. This adds Mageroyal into the Shopping List called Midnight Ink.
- Repeat this with the next herb, Briarthorn. Search for it, wait, then add item to the shopping list.
- Repeat this with all the herbs that WoWhead shows can be made into Midnight Ink, until your shopping list is filled.
Click on Search for All Items in the bottom left hand side, to tell Auctionator to search for all the herbs that can be made into Midnight Ink, in order of price. Here we can see that making Midnight Ink from Swiftthistle would be cheaper than making it from Stranglekelp.
So thats how you make and fill a single shopping list for Midnight Ink. Repeat this with all the other inks, going to WoWhead to check which herbs make which pigments.
When you’ve made all your shopping lists, you’ll have a set of lists that you compare to each other. Here I’m checking the price of herbs for blackfallow ink, because you can trade blackfallow ink into midnight ink. I can see that if I want a lot of midnight ink, and have already bought the cheap swiftthistle, I will buy the cheap Cinderbloom, make blackfallow ink and trade it for Midnight ink. This way I won’t be wasting my gold on the expensive Stranglekelp.

I did some research and found amultiboxing software that works for world of warcraft. I’ve never tried it before, do any of you multibox?
[edit, 2Aug] Do any readers know whether PwnBoxer is legal? Are any of you members of the multiboxing forums? I can see a reply from a MVP saying it’s probably ok, but that’s all.

Truegold prices are now at a premium. With the opening of the 4.2 vendors by the hardworking Molten Front quest grinders, truegold is in demand for the new patterns. This demand was predicted back when the vendor patterns were announced, by Just My Two Copper and MMOChampion. WoW Insider Euripedes and I both predicted that truegold prices would be plunge at the beginning of 4.2 due to over speculation and then climb as the vendors were released.

Well I’m not sure if Euripedes has mentioned this recently, but now is a good time to sell your truegold. Just take a look at this graph from wow trader showing my local EU realm demand for Truegold. Click for a larger image. You don’t really need to enlarge the image to see that the price has risen through the roof. I’m now hearing demands on trade for truegold cooldowns that I haven’t seen since before 4.2. I’m seeing complaints on twitter from sellers that the Truegold transmute isn’t procing.
In a nutshell, players want more Truegold. Your response? Take your truegold out of your storage guild banks and start selling on the Auction House. Follow my advice in my last post about Truegold: Go careful, do not flood the market. Sell a few at a time, do not enter into an undercutting war, slow steady and sure. If you do not sell today you can sell tomorrow, or over the next few weeks. Tuesday and Wednesday might be very good selling days, because raiding guilds head into their endgame raids on Tuesday (US) and Wednesday (EU) nights, the first nights of the new Blizzard week.
I am going to make a 50/50 bet here, that truegold will not have a use after 4.2. The advent of epic gems will bring either a new pyrite^2 bar or a similar item to primordial saronite available from raids. Either way, I get the feeling that Blizzard has used truegold to its limit here.
I could be wrong, I have nothing to back up my theory except years of experience and intuition. So take this with a pinch of salt. Take all predictions with a pinch of salt until they come with hard evidence. Either way, get those Truegold sold, slow, sure, and steady.
