I’ve carried your alt through Uldum achievements, I ve out damaged you in heroics whilst tanking.
And now you’re too lazy to learn the true value of commodities in the auction house. You think my hours of work getting a new pattern were purely for your enjoyment, and I don’t deserve a tip? You think I researched this rare item, travelled, camped and acquired it just to give away to a stranger?
In the morning, I’m gonna knock on your front door. I’ll point to your pc your doting mother sweated to buy for you. Then I’m going to have a tantrum that you don’t give me it. Deal?

The mobile Gold Queen
1. You went crazy and over-bought, and can never get rid of all your stock.
2. You didn’t watch the item price over time before buying. So you bought high by accident.
3. The price is low because noone wants it, it can’t even be made into anything useful.
4. You bought a good bargain, and charged a high price, but before it could sell it was superseded by something better and you had to sell at a loss.
5. You bought low but didn’t have the patience to wait for prices to rise, so you sold low instead.
6. You bought high after reading a “tip” online that everyone else read, and after all the cheap ones were gone.
7. You didn’t repackage your item properly in the right stack sizes. Noone wants to click 200 times for one stack of 200 volatiles.
8. You bought low, then the market was flooded by farmers or bots and you panicked and sold, instead of trying to sell it in a different way eg to different buyer type or crafted into a new item.
9. You’re just a moron.

Patch 4.3 Void Storage
A new feature in patch 4.3 is brought by Ethereals to Stormwind and Orgrimmar.
Clean out your bank of old tier armor and sentimental gifts. I’ll be storing my cadaverous set and four to six full tier sets that I don’t want to transmogrify. Reminders of my times in server-first guilds, my bank (and all my alts’ banks) are filled with biggest slot illusionary bags bursting with soulbound armor.
My collection of staves will go into storage too. I have about 20 of them from the burning crusade onwards. It will be a shame to lose their enchants, though.
I will be left with so much room in my bank that I can transfer in all the crap from my inventory hand bags. For the first time since tbc, I’m not going to carry a 3rd spec set of gear with me “just in case”. Main spec, off spec, and PvP sets only!
With much lighter bags, Blizz ought to give me a +agi buff!
I will be able to carry around a lot more crap, whether that be crafting mats, or items to sell on WoW AH. Posting everything up to the auction house will be faster.
In the wild
I do have Pony Up Argent Squire and a Travellers Tundra Mammoth, so I can vendor my greys and trash and use mail box whilst away from the cities. Bigger bags means I can work, gather, kill and quest in the wild for longer periods. I save travel time. Less time spent travelling is more time to spend making gold.
Void storage is going to make me rich.
Woah, wait a minute there, that’s not what the title of this article says!
We’ve omitted one important piece of information. If I have more bag space, and you have more bag space, then so does everyone else.
Bag space
One of the services we provide as gold gamers is space rental. You think you’ve never rented inventory space in your bags or bank? This is what you’re effectively doing when you buy low, wait, then sell high.
Players with low storage facilities, who haven’t invested in bags, cannot wait to sell high. They have to sell low.
With void storage, players can now hold their own items for better sales prices. So that’s going to make life harder for you and me.
Void storage and farming
If you have any guild mates or friends who have agreed to farm mats for you, whether cloth, ore, herbs, leather, meat or mob drops, they can hold more now. So you might get more mats to available to buy. There may also be higher volumes on the AH.

Spectral tiger prices
My problem is that I’ve never seen a swift spectral tiger on my auction house under 650,000g. And I’m too stingy to pay that much.
Mounts I’ve bought on Auction House
Crimson deathcharger, magic rooster (the chicken mount!), big battle bear, mottled raptor.
Mounts I still don’t have
Polar bear, spectral tiger. I still don’t have the sandstone drake! I could have bought the 2nd or 3rd on the server but I don’t like being second, and I don’t like its looks. I’ll buy it one day in a bulk pack of 10 when I’m bored.
My Swift Spectral Tiger that got away
One day I spent so long just looking and longing at the 650k tiger mount on AH, sighing like a lovesick teenager, and decided to buy it. Forget the expense, that’s what gold is for. So I took a deep breath and clicked buy.
My heart was beating, this was the moment all my gold making was worth, my own speccy tiger. Are you sure? Prompted the Blizzard interface. Another deep breath, and another, then I clicked yes. That item cannot be found.
Between clicking yes and confirm, someone else had bought the mount. Literally and honestly one or two seconds too late. I had to log off to hide my disappointment.
I guess it was just not meant to be. Fate must have another spectral tiger somewhere, waiting for me.
I hope it hurries up.
