These sound similar to Serpents Eye and old jewelcrafting dailies that created a special JC gem. Like the WOTLK fishing daily gems, there could be BoP epic gems in this expansion.

Battle Pets Gold
Battle Pets Gold
Making gold from companion, or battle pets, in Warcraft has always been a gold mine.
Back in 2010-2012, I sold a guide on how to find, farm and sell these as vanity items.
Since the pet changes, of course, the number of pets available has exploded.
There are many more pet sources: Quest, Vendor, Pet Battles, Achievements, Pets caught in the Wild, Blizzard shop pets, TCG pets, even crafted pets.
Please note: Finding, selling, flipping (buy for resale), and other cross-realm tricks will be explained in another post. There are a lot of ways to make gold from pets, this is just one.
Today’s guide is for the very beginner at Pet Battles.
Our aim today is to profit from the differences in prices on the Auction House between level 1 pets, and level 25 pets.
You can profit from this difference by buying (or better, acquiring it for free!) a low price level 1 pet, leveling it, and reselling as a level 25 pet.
Leveling from 1-25
Here are the resources that I use for leveling pets from level 1-25
XuFu’s Pet Battle Guides A good looking easy to use guide with Rematch import strings
Redisia’s Wowhead guide to daily pet battles in garrison
Garrison Menagerie Leveling
The little girl, Squirt, with her pets Deebs, Tyri & Puzzle give you extra XP and her fight is repeatable. It’s a great opportunity to level your pets without leaving the garrison.
2016 spawn dates
15-Jan, 30-Jan, 14-Feb, 29-Feb, 15-Mar, 30-Mar, 14-Apr, 29-Apr, 14-May, 29-May, 13-Jun, 28-Jun, 13-Jul, 28-Jul, 12-Aug, 27-Aug and every 15 days
29 May and 13 July spawns on a Pet Battle Bonus Weekend giving you even more pet XP, and faster leveling to 25.
I use Peelyon’s Youtube Guide
Slightly easier is the Enchanted Broom/Weebs strategy. It’s easier to remember too. “Sweep, swap, swap, Cleave until dead, then batter.”
From Sepsis, via Warcraft Pets website, then via Wowhead:
Enchanted Broom (2/2/2)
Carry Pet (Can be ANY level, will not take damage)
Weebomination (1/anything/anything)Start with Enchanted Broom
Round 1: Sweep
Round 2: Switch to Carry Pet
Round 3: Switch to Weebomination
Round 4-11: Cleave (the back row should die by round 10, death round should trigger on 11)
Round 12: Bring out Enchanted Broom (Puzzle should waste Portal)
Round 13: Batter
I’ve really been into pet battling and leveling my pets lately!

Which pets should I flip?
Try not to spend too much gold on buy for resale. Never buy anything unless you are sure of a sale.
Any item being repeatedly posted for sale for a high price does not mean that item is WORTH that much.
Watch your Auction House.
Focus on a few favourite pets at first, and learn their prices on your server
Check out the Undermine Journal and WoWuction.com to backup your research
Buy when you’re ready, then level, and sell.
Better than buying, is acquiring without paying gold. Even if that means doing a few Argent Tournament dailies, or flying to Outland to pick up a pet from a vendor there.

Where to re-start Gold Making in Warcraft
It’s hard to come back into world of warcraft after taking a break.
It’s even harder when there is an expectation that you can immediately make 60,000g+ per month in order to pay for the subscription by WoWtoken.
There are so many guides out there about starting gold, but nothing for coming back to Warcraft after some time away.
I hope I can help you here.
Dear Gold Queen
I just returned from a few months’ break from WoW. I heard about the new changes, and I wanted to start playing again. I used to be really good at making gold in Warcraft but now everything has changed. Can you give me a rough guide to getting re-started again?
Thanks
“Long-time-fan J”
Hi J, thanks for contacting me.
Overwhelming
Re-starting Warcraft can be overwhelming. Don’t become daunted.
Your garrison is your base of operations. Get that optimised first. I have a full complete guide on it for sale. It’s pay-what-you-want but if you can’t do that right now, then google is your friend, you can search out various opinions on “best garrison”. Naturally, I think mine is best.
Don’t get burnt out again
Then get straight back into Warcraft, going through your old play style. Raid, pvp, quest, explore, roleplay, battle pets, whichever you enjoy.
As you play, your memory will jog “I wonder if I can resell this item?” or “if I need this item, who else needs it? where can I get it?” and “I see herbs on the ground, are they worth picking?”
Allow your memory to come back to you piece at a time.
Don’t push yourself.
You already got burnt out once before.
Slow and Steady and Regular
Once you have your garrison and your normal play underway, it’s time to look at the old things that made you gold, and check again if they are the things that are right to re-start.
Transmog
Flipping
Crafting
Farming/Collecting items
Pet Leveling
Gathering
Services (eg tanking, portals)
I credit you with enough intelligence to search for “tailoring” or “transmog” in TGQ search bar without prompting from me!
There are some recently found ways of making gold, but you can scan back over the archives at TGQ for these. We’ve recently got into
Tanaan farming
Cross Realm hopping
Remember How You Learned
Jog your mind with the free gold making course.
Of course, you’re not a beginner, and can just skim through most of the lessons.
The aim of the course for you is to remind you what you did, and how you learned. You can use the guide as a tick box memory-jogger to check that you’re already doing something, and that it is in the correct order.
Once you learn a method, it can be applied over and over again to many different items and professions.
Have faith in yourself
And if you have any specific problems, you can always ask gold making questions from the recommended gold makers.

World of Warcraft Legion gathering professions
What do we know so far?
There are new herbs in Legion
Legion Herbs
The news herbs in Legion are:
- Starlight Rose
- Felwort
- Fjarnskaggl
- Foxflower
- Dreamleaf
- Aethril
Herbalism Techniques
There are three ranks of techniques tied to picking each herb, and they each have special Rank 3 perks like summoning foxes or getting a powerful buff.
Rank 1
Attempts to gather the herb will fail less often
Rank 2
Teaches you how to find rare materials while gathering that herb.
Rank 3
Varies from herb to herb!
- Starlight Rose: Attempting to gather a starlight rose will always succeed.
- Felwort: Teaches you how to gather seeds from all Broken Isles herbs.
- Fjarnskaggl: Mount quickly after gathering any herb in the Broken Isles.
- Foxflower: Gathering foxflower will summon friendly foxes to fight alongside you.
- Dreamleaf: Standing near a dreamleaf will grant you a powerful buff.
- Aethril: Gathering herbs in the Broken Isles may cause additional herbs to appear.
Of particular interest “attempts will fail less often” and “will always succeed”
We’re wondering whether fails will mean you gather nothing, or whether you gather the 1/10th parts of flowers, eg petals/leaves.
Legion Ore Mines
New ore!
- Leystone
- Felslate

Spending, Rewards, Gambles, and Investments
Spending, Rewards, Gambles, and Investments
So you think that spending gold is just spending gold?
Spending Warcraft Gold
Out of your spending, you will divide up your gold:
30-90% for your piggy bank character, for savings.
10-50% working capital, investing in stock, or in yourself.
0-10% gold for toying with, or rewarding yourself.
0-10% gambling or learning capital.
1: Warcraft Gold Rewards
Reward spending is when you have worked hard at gold making, you’ve made 100g, or 1,000g, or 100,000g today
Rewards are items are what you buy yourself.
You need to reward yourself in order to sustain high productivity.
Rewarding yourself helps keep your motivation high.
Everyone deserves a reward.
When rewards go wrong
Include your self-reward in your plans for spending, otherwise you will over-reward yourself, indulge, and spend gold out of your investment, or your savings!

2: Gold Investments
Investment is when you spend some gold, 100% sure that you will make a profit from this.
An example of investment is buying leather to craft a leather item for sale.
This is only an investment when you have either strong experience, or you have spent time researching, so that you can be certain it will sell.
Another example is buying a high-demand mount for sale at 50% of its normal selling price. You are certain that it will sell soon, and for a profit.
Investing in yourself
You also make an investment when you learn a profession. You are investing in yourself, and you are 100% certain that picking herbs or ore, or leather, or crafting anything, can bring in more gold than you spent on your self-investment.
3: Gambles with WoW Gold
Gambling is just like investment.
It is when you spend some gold, but you are not sure whether it will make a profit.
Put aside a certain small percentage of your gold spending for “learning”. For allowing yourself to make mistakes.
When Gambles Go Wrong
There is a difference between investing and gambling. The difference is you know the gold you spend will be returned to you.
Buying low cost Exotic Leather, to craft Misthide Bracers for vendoring at a profit, this is an investment.
Buying 1 expensive item on the Black Market Auction House, after researching The Undermine Journal and WoWuction.com and discovering it may well sell for triple your price. This is a learning investment. You are spending gold to discover something. You’re gambling that you won’t get the gold back, but you’re willing to take the risk in order to “buy” learning for yourself.
Buying 100 White Tickbird Hatchlings at whatevever-is-currently-cheapest, because you saw a Twitch Streamer level one to 25, and earn a thousand gold. This is neither a learning opportunity, nor an investment. It’s a pure gamble.
4: Savings
Saving your gold is lesson one in the Free Gold Making Email Course.
Without putting some gold aside, it will get spent. Whether it is in excited investment, indulgent self-rewards, or simply on every day items that you think you need, but you could manage without.
Set yourself a bank character, and send a regular, large percentage over to your piggy bank character to hold on to. Your savings, the amount of gold you hold in your piggy bank char will increase every time you log in.
Eventually you will need several piggy bank characters to hold all your gold.
What can go wrong with savings?
If you do not save gold, you will either break even, or make a loss.

Garrison Guide
Your garrison in Warlords of Draenor is your base of operations. It’s also the most lucrative place to get gold in World of Warcraft.
With your garrison at peak efficiency, you can get gold from the missions, and also from the shipyards, the small and medium buildings.
The buildings, and the followers work in synergy together. Each support each other to bring more gold into your hands.
Easy to Play
It’s pretty easy to create an average functioning Garrison. And with the help of guides over on wowhead, on youtube, on livestreams, on reddit, and on other websites, you can soon make a garrison that is above average.
Almost everyone knows “choose treasure hunters at the inn” or they might know a combination of buildings that their friend has suggested they try.
However, honing your garrison to a fine sharp blade takes research, time, some trial and error, persistence, and readjustment.
If you want to skip all that, and have me do it for you, you might be interested in buying the pay-what-you-want Garrison Gold Guide
Garrison Gold Guide
Hard to Master
Getting every part of your garrison, the buildings, the followers, the shipyard, takes a careful balancing act.
Which buildings are essential? Which are only recommended? Which are optional? Which are useful? Are any useless? How does it work with your professions? Which missions to do? Can you get the 4,000g mission? What do I need to do every day?
There is even a trick to getting the extra lucrative Shipyard Rare Missions to spawn, and give you thousands of gold per day.
I’ve covered everything in the guide, so check it out and see if it could help you.
